CONVICTION

A conviction is a firm held belief.
one aspect of a called person into ministry is the conviction to which he or she is deeply committed, great people have strong held beliefs.
An opinion is something you would argue for; A conviction is something you would die for.

If God has called you in ministry, nothing can stop you. And your indentity in the ministry rests in your relationship with Him. Not the approval of people around you. Instead of living in fear of what people will think or in a comparison trap ~ you must develop your conviction.

CONVITION TEST
Your conviction will be tested by 3 things:

1. DISCOURAGEMENT
one of the enemies most powerful weapon is discouragement.
conviction require courage to uphold discouragement.

2.FEAR
fear is a threat in ministry.
your calling is personal between you and God and not men.

3.TIME
How long will it take to settle at that place am convinced i belong?
It took Moses 40years on the back side of the desert tending Jethros sheep.
After his conversion, it took Apostle Paul 14yrs before he was released and sent out.
From the dreams until He became the Prime Minister of Egypt, it took 13 years of Joseph's life.

TWo things would determine how long it will take:

1. Magnitude and nature of your ministry.
it takes more heat to refine a vessel made of gold for God's honour, than it takes to make an earthen vessel for common use.

2. The way you respond to God's dealings as He prepare you.
are you stubborn or obedient?
there is a price to pay for your calling.
Take courage do not stumble, peel the onion though it may cost your tears but be focussed on the aimed dish.
Be joyful in hope, patient in afflictions, and faithful in prayer as you trust in the unfalling love of God.
May your scars become your stars and all your stumbling blocks turn to stepping blocks.

THREE THINGS YOU WILL NOT FIND IN A GODLY MARRIAGE

I have been observing some couples and admiring the way they stay together. Others are perfect and some not. I always encourage myself that my marriage will be perfect and an example young people can follow. Have a look at this things that you wont find in a Godly mariage:

(1.) A SHARP TONGUE
Note that it can be easy to cut with our words when things dont go our way.
Most of us are pretty creative when it comes to justifying our sin. That' is exactly what a sharp tongue is: Sin.
" the tongue is a little member and boasts of great things. How great a forest is set ablaze by a small fire!" James 3:5
"A soft answer turns away wrath". Proverbs 15:1
"Pleasant words are as honeycomb, sweet to the soul, and health to the bones". Proverbs 16:24
There is no place for a sharp tongue in any relationship and thats why you wont get one in a Christ-honoring marriage.

(2.) A GOOD MEMORY
There is nothing iritating like regularly referencing the list of your spouse's past offences and failures.
"Love keeps no record of wrongs". 1 Cor 13:6
" He who covers an offense seeks love, but he who repeats a matter separates close friends". Proverbs 17:9
In a Godly marriage you wont find a good memory of wrongs.

(3.) NEGLECTING THE BIBLICAL ORDER IN MARRIAGE.
Men are basically instructed to be to their wives as Christ is to the church, so, how did/does Jesus act towards the church, His bride?

A. He loved "Her" before He knew "Her"..
" .......while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us." Romans 5:8
Men are called to be faithful and sacrificial before they are in a relationship with their wives -think of sexual purity before men meet their life partners.

B. He "Nourishes and cherishes" His Bride.
read Ephesians 5:29 " for no man ever hates his own flesh, but nourishes and cherishes it, as Christ does the Church,"
To cherish, means to treasure, value, prize,appreciate,take pleasure in, to attach importance to.

With that you can ask yourself "How loving am I, Really?"
If you are single is the time you maximise in your singleness as you prepare to be the best partner.
And to my future wife ( not known) - je vais passer le reste de ma vie avec vous.

God's kingdom

The kingdom of God develops and eventually grows to the point that it extends over the entire world.When the Bible speaks about Kingship and the Kingdom of God, it usually has this sence in mind.
consinder the opening words in the Lord's prayer.

"Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name,
your kingdom come, your will be done on earth as it is in heaven." Mathew 6:9-10

we know that God has always ruled over the earth and all creation.
what did Jesus mean when He taught us to pray, "Your Kingdom come"? How can something that is already here "come"?

Well, Jesus reffered to the Old Testament teaching that God has a developing history of kingship.
The kingdom of God comes on earth and transform it, so that the earth mirrors heaven.

Jesus words about the Kingdom consist of three parallel lines; first He asked for God's name would be kept holy. God's name would be kept holy when the kingdom come. And to explain what he meant by the coming of the kingdom, Jesus added that the coming of the kingdom would be God's will being done on earth as it is done in heaven.

Jesus taught us to pray that God would bring His Kingdom to earth to such an extent that the earth would become like heaven, so that God's name would be kept holy everywhere.
