JOY IN DIFFICULTIES

How Long Will It Take?

Just like me, maybe you are probably asking, "But how long will this process take? How long will it take God to prepare me?"

Am encouraged to know there is no set length of time. Moses was in preparation for 40yrs on the back side of the desert tending Jethros sheep.

After his conversion it took Apostle Paul 14yrs before he was released and sent out as a leader Acts 13:1-3.

From his dreams until he became the prime minister of Egypt spanned 13yrs of Joseph's life.

TWO THINGS DETERMINE HOW LONG IT WILL TAKE:
1. magnitude and nature of the ministry God has prepared for you.
It takes more heat to refine a vessel made of gold for God's honour than it takes to make an earthen vessel for common use.

2. The Way you respond to His dealings as He prepares you. Are you stubborn or obedient?

There is a price to pay for you to be a leader.

DON'T BE DECEIVED

Deception is believing something is right when it is wrong. 1 John 1:7-10 tell us that as we walk in the light of God's love and truth,  the blood of Jesus keeps on cleansing us from all sin. It also says, "If we say we have no sin, we deceive ourselves."  " but if we confess our sin , he is faithful to forgive and cleanse us."
From this we can see that there are 3 possible areas of deception:
(A) WE HAVE NO SIN.
thinking we have no sin for which to be forgiven.
(B) WE DON'T  NEED TO CONFESS.
thinking that if we sin God will overlook it, or even forgive us even if we don't face it or tell Him about it.
(C) WE WON'T BE FORGIVEN.
thinking we cannot be forgiven.

Don't be deceived. Will be continued....
